August 5th marks COBU’s 7th anniversary!
Since COBU began in 2018, we have seen so much growth and progress within the firm! What was once two architects, has grown to a team of fifteen, working together to design award-winning projects. In the last seven years, we have welcomed new faces, moved office spaces, learned new techniques, and expanded licensure to new states.
This year, we have settled into our new office along with welcoming some new team members. Our team is our greatest asset and we are so thankful for everyone’s enthusiasm in growing COBU towards the future.
It was a great year filled with site visits, lunch-and-learns, team meetings, new experiences, and hard work! In between the busy days in the office, we had fun celebrating holidays and birthdays as a team. Throughout the year, we have seen projects completed and started many new projects! COBU continued to be an active participant in various organizations including the Association of Licensed Architects, Society of American Military Engineers, Building Industry Association of Greater Chicago, Elgin Area Chamber, and International Code Council.
