August marks an exciting milestone for COBU Architecture Studio – 8 years of COBU!
Since our founding in 2018, we have experienced tremendous growth, both as a firm and as a team. What began with two architects has grown into a team of fifteen talented professionals working together to create thoughtful, award-winning designs.
This year, we were excited to welcome several new team members who have brought fresh perspectives and expertise to COBU. The past year has been filled with many site visits, lunch-and-learns, team meetings, COBU colleges, and team celebrations. Throughout the year, we watched projects reach completion while also taking on many exciting new projects and opportunities. Beyond our work in the studio, COBU continued to stay involved in the community through our participation in organizations including the including the Association of Licensed Architects, Society of American Military Engineers, Building Industry Association of Greater Chicago, Elgin Area Chamber, and International Code Council.
Eight years in, we are proud of how far COBU has come, and even more excited about where we are headed. Thank you to our incredible team for your hard work, creativity, and dedication throughout the years. Cheers to 8 years of COBU!
