HISTORICHISTOHISTORIC PORCH RENOVATION

This home’s vibrant character and color was intact, but the front porch had seen better days. In our design process, we referenced historical precedents in Elgin to create a design which was easily approved by the local historic preservation agency. Additionally, we had the challenge of producing construction drawings that conveyed how to build those historical details. This allowed the trades to translate drawings into a new porch, rail, spindles, and columns for this unique project.
