Construction update – this stunning custom Tuscan-style single-family home has made great progress since our last blog post!
The windows have been installed and the masons are busy laying the beautiful stonework. Located along the shore of Geneva Lake, this home is surrounded by mature trees and expansive views. The focus of this 4-bedroom plan is the vaulted Great Room. The large masonry fireplace with large windows on either side draws the eye to views of the woods to the North and the lake to the South.
This project provided some unique design challenges. We were tasked with reusing the existing house’s foundation and utilizing the steep slope of the site. In the end we took advantage of the challenges by creating a new home which allows for breathtaking lake views on every level and large exterior terraces for the whole family to gather during the long summer nights.
