This Friday, we’re acknowledging and appreciating our team member Dermeei Perez!
Before Dermeei joined us here at COBU, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 2021 at Judson University. She has plans to return to Judson to complete her Master’s degree to continue on her path to becoming licensed. She began her career working on religious projects and joined our team to expand her experience and knowledge of different project types.
At COBU, Dermeei has worked on projects of varying scales including townhouses, single family housing, commercial, and site planning. Her enthusiasm for design and construction started at a very young age. She grew up watching how her father brought landscape projects he designed to fruition and soon found that creating spaces for people’s use and enjoyment was something that resonated with her. Her passion for architecture and working with people is evident in the work she does at COBU.
When she is not in the office, you will definitely find her outdoors or working on her next house project. Any project that involves painting, woodworking, or gardening – she is ready to roll up her sleeves and work hands on! When projects are completed, she loves to kick back and relax fishing or enjoying a delicious plate of sushi. Dermeei is always on her feet ready for the next adventure or the next sport she could play. She is one that believes you never stop learning and should always be ready to listen.
Dermeei is a country loving aspiring architect, and it is great to have her on the team!
